&#60;p&#62;I think k-Wave could be used for this purpose, keeping in mind that there is no direct way to impose impedance boundary conditions for the walls (however, you could define these using a strong impedance contrast). There is lots of documentation about how to use k-Wave in the &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.k-wave.org/documentation.php&#34;&#62;manual&#60;/a&#62; and in the help files included in the toolbox.&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I am very new to this toolbox , can someone please tell me whether the toolbox would relevant for me in my efforts towards developing an acoustic model 2D model for active noise control , that is I need to simulate a 2D room space with a point source of disturbance that I am detecting and cancelling at another point through the creation of antinoise by some signal processing .
