Hello Amita, what you meant by running main. M? I didn't get it in the drive folder.

I am also following this paper, but I don't understand why they are using kspacefirstorder2D function for generating compressional wave. because for viscoelastic medium, compressional wave should also be calculated using pstdElastic2d function.

Hi uuu,

I'm also following this paper, did you manager to re-porduce the same result as in the paper?
Thank you.

Best regards, Li

I follow the paper https://doi.org/10.1121/2.0000398 mainly.
I separate it into 2 parts.
make different medium shear_speed(5 m/s and 1 m/s) to reflect shear wave.

===== code & Procedure =====
run "main.m"
1. push focus ARF to generate stress(input of Part2)
2. record the ux & uy to get displacement
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tTkO4KDsLASSqUZvQRmDz5sw4kX3plqR
(I will update more details in the slide on the drive)

======= Problems ========
1. there seems a fake shear wave generated from the wall.
2. I am not sure about my code design right, or not?
