&#60;p&#62;I am a new user of k-Wave.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I tried to simulate a B-mode ultrasound image of a 5MHz center frequency 64×1 line array. My code is modified from example 'Simulating B-mode Ultrasound Images'. Increasing the number of grids reduces the size of the grids to ensure that the grids support the 5MHz frequency.The number of scan lines 'number_scan_lines' has been increased to 124 to ensure that the image is of the right size. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The imaged object is a double-slit object.However,the lower half of the double-slit object in the B-mode image has been widened to resemble a body shape. In addition, bright noise is visible in the middle and lower parts of the background of the image, as shown in the image below:&#60;/p&#62;
