Hi Sam,

In the "Simulating B-mode Images Using A Phased Array Example", the
sc
variable is used to reduce the size of the grid to make the simulations run faster. For example, if you set
sc = 2
, the grid size will be halved.

Hope that helps,

Brad.

Hi,

I am trying to use k-wave to simulate imaging based on CT/MRI using a known transducer geometry. In trying to edit the example, I am hoping to set the number of elements to 64, the frequency to 2.5MHz, and other values for the width and length. In doing this, I noticed that there appears to be a variable sc which is set to one which relates these variables to the grid size. I was wondering if I also need to change this variable and what it is used for.

Best,
Sam
