Hi rehmanali1994,

I've got two people working on that and we should have an alpha prototype soon. I also coded a wrapper that allows to run 2D simulatoin as a 3D one with Z set to 1, however, some calculations are not precise any more, e.g.m for density we sum rhox + rhoY + rhoZ, where rhoZ does not make any sense.

If you want to try it anyway, drop me an email.

Best,
Jiri

Dear All,

I would like to use the C++ code for k-Wave simulations on a 2D grid. I noticed that only kspaceFirstOrder3D was converted to C++. I was wondering if it is possible to simply run 2D simulations using this 3D code, and if so, what should I do to make this work.

Thank You,
Rehman Ali
