&#60;p&#62;You could do it, but k-Wave would probably not be the ideal tool for this. There are two related reasons: boundary conditions cannot be applied directly, but must be set by changing the material properties. If there is a large change in material properties, as you will need here, then you may need many points per wavelength to model it accurately. In which case you may as well use a finite element model in which the boundary conditions can be explicitly included. The other advantage of k-Wave is for large-scale problems, when the domain is many hundreds of times larger than a wavelength, which I doubt is the case here.&#60;/p&#62;
