I have not tested it, so it is useful feedback. Regarding your second question, you can turn off the plotting completely by using <code>&#39;PlotSim&#39;, false</code>. Unfortunately, more complicated plotting options are not currently possible.</p> <p>The function <code>checkStability</code> is only for the fluid code (<code>kspaceFirstOrderND</code>). I have been playing with Elastic Wave sims in Octave (Octave 4.0.1 on Windows 10 64-bit). I note the following errors so far:<br /> 1. <code>movegui</code> is not implemented in Octave yet. Commenting out the corresponding line in <code>scaleFig.m</code> allowed execution to proceed.<br /> 2. Sometimes the structure <code>plotscale(:)</code> in <code>pstdElastic2D.m</code> (lines 805 and 815) contains NaN values. This causes the <code>imagesc</code> function to fail. I used a workaround where I test for NaN values using <code>isnan</code> and set the scale to 1.0 instead. Is there a way to disable the default visualization and generate it on demand instead?<br /> 3. <code>checkStability</code> fails on elastic wave problems because the <code>medium</code> data structure does not contain a <code>sound_speed</code> member.
