Hi Brad,

I found k-Wave under "Supplemental Software" and was able to make it searchable. Thank you!

Hi jak58985,

Did you install the toolbox just by adding it to the k-Wave path? This is done either using
addpath
or selecting "Set Path" from the toolbar. After this, the name of the toolbox should appear under the "Supplemental Software" heading when you open the MATLAB help. You don't need to use the "Package Toolbox" or "Manage Custom Toolboxes" options in MATLAB.

As an aside, if you want to make the k-Wave documentation searchable, you can do this by running:

builddocsearchdb(‘<...pathname...>/k-Wave Toolbox/helpfiles’);

Hope that helps,

Brad

Hi,

On installing the k-Wave package and checking the custom toolbox manager to see if the package had properly installed, I tried opening examples from the help menu and got the following error "A custom toolbox named k-Wave Toolbox is on your path but does not have a search index compatible with this release." Any tips to resolve this issue? I'm using this on a university license and have access to signal processing, controls, instrumentation, and image processing libraries if that helps.
