Hi Lirj,

Have a look at this paper from Mark Anastasio's group:

Huang, C., Wang, K., Nie, L., Wang, L. V, & Anastasio, M.A. (2013). Full-wave iterative image reconstruction in photoacoustic tomography with acoustically inhomogeneous media.

Hi Dr. Treeby and Dr. Cox,

If I express the ultrasound propogation in a hemerogenous medium in operator form as P=HS, S is the source signal, P is the received pressure signals, H is the restriction operator onto the receiver positions. How can I get the matrix H? I want to get the matrix H with concrete values.

Best regards!
Thanks.
Lirj
