&#60;p&#62;Solved the problem. It was a problem with the Folder and File permissions for the k-Wave Toolbox folder and the files inside it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The folder could only be accessed by the root user and so were the files.&#60;br /&#62;
Logged in as the root user and changed the Folder and File permissions to allow access.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You should probably include it in the instructions for installing on Linux on the installation page.

&#60;p&#62;I tried installing the k-Wave Toolbox on Linux (Ubuntu 11.04) with MATLAB R2010b.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I copied the folder 'k-Wave Toolbox' to '/usr/local/MATLAB/R2010b/toolbox' by logging in as root and generated a pathdef.m file which I copied to the folder '/usr/local/MATLAB/R2010b/toolbox/local', where the old pathdef.m file was.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now MATLAB shows the toolbox when I log in as root, but does not show it when I log in as a normal user. Kindly suggest ways to rectify this problem.
