Hi Moein,

Two things you could try:

(1) Just simulate the proportion of the domain towards which the array is pointing.
(2) Add a reflector into the vascular cavity (filled cylinder in the medium properties) so the waves from the other side are reflected.

Brad

Dear Bradley,
Is it possible to simulate the intravascular PAI scenario in K-wave? I know that using "makeCircle" it is possible to make a circular array of transducers (in the middle of the medium) which mimics the rotation procedure in IVPA, but there is a problem.
Assuming that there is only one point-like absorber at one corner (top right) of the medium, the transducer looking to the other corner (down left) also detects the wave since the wave goes through the middle of the circular probe and the transducer element is also non-directional. So, it detects the wave coming from the back of it. Is there any solution for this?

Regards,
Moein.
