Hi Cheng-You Lee,

Are you just seeing changes in the wave amplitude due to different transmission coefficients into the step-change in medium properties, or in one of the cases, a reflection?

Brad.

I wanted to do the simulation that a line source of sine wave propagates through air to sensor, and I found out that whether defining the properties of the propagation medium(sensor) on sensor had a big difference. For instance, I defined the properties of the propagation medium(sensor) on senor, the pressure value was up to 30~40 Pa(Initially I set 5 Pa); I defined the properties of the propagation medium(sensor) in front of senor, the pressure value was down to 2~3 Pa; I defined the properties of the propagation medium(sensor) behind senor, the pressure value was up to 10 Pa. If I didn't define any medium then the pressure value is close to 5 Pa, so now I want to figure out why I define the medium appearing these phenomena?
