Hi, I wanted to model an ultrasound multi element transducer in k-wave. On the k-wave website I found this method http://www.k-wave.org/documentation/example_us_defining_transducer.php

However this method had some limitations, it can only be used for 3D simulations and the radius of curvature for the transducer cannot be changed. The shape of each element is also rectangular and I believe that this cannot be changed either.

I wanted to know if there are any other methods which can be used to simulate something similar. My ultimate goal is to run a 2D multi element analysis for HIFU using anatomical data and a segmented image to simulate how the ultrasound would react to different mediums in the body.
