Hi Jasper,

The nonlinear equation solved in k-Wave (in the functions
kspaceFirstOrder3D
etc) is described in this paper. All of the codes in k-Wave implement full wave models (i.e., discretise x,y,z and step in t). Aside from the two angular spectrum codes, there are none that implement moving time windows and step in space.

Brad.

Hello everyone,

I am a novice in nonlinear acoustics simulation. I was surfing through the various codes, but couldn't find an implementation of the NPE equation, a close relative of the KZK equation, but with a different numerical implementation that involves time-moving window and Flux Corrected Transport method to treat the non linear term.
I'd appreciate any help from more experienced users.

Thank you!
Jasper
