&#60;p&#62;&#60;code&#62;Nt&#60;/code&#62; is the number of time steps. After you have chosen &#60;code&#62;dt&#60;/code&#62; (see the k-Wave manual if you need further details), then &#60;code&#62;Nt * dt&#60;/code&#62; will define how long the waves propagate for. For example, if you have a domain of a certain size and sound speed, you can set &#60;code&#62;Nt&#60;/code&#62; such that the waves have time to propagate across the domain for example.&#60;/p&#62;

I can't understand the mathematical formula of calculating kgrid.Nt, i know it related to Nx and Ny but i don't understand how can we calculate it.&#60;br /&#62;
Beside these parameters, is this related to PMLSize?&#60;br /&#62;
