Hi joy4162,

I'm not sure I exactly follow your setup. Would you be happy to post a working example?

Brad.

Hi, I'm just trying to simulate the PA signal.
I created a target and a sensor.

Briefly show the parameters

grid: x,y,z => 150, 150, 1000
dx,dy,dz => 1-e9, 1-e9, 1-e9.

location of target --> x,y,z (75,75,10)
location of sensor --> x,y,z (75,75,990)
.

So, the sensor was located in front of the target(almost 1um).
I know it is very close, not real.
anyway I tried to simulate it with this parameter.
However, the result was a quite weird.

a half of the PA signal was located (:,:,10)(located at upper of the result image) --> it's okay
other half of the PA signal was located at very bottom of the result image.

I think the bottom signal should be just 0.

result PA image like this:

 ----------------------------------- << transducer
|==================== <<the half of PA signal ( and target was located this location)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|==================== << the half of PA signal <<== should be zero signal!

Could anyone explain why it happen?
