Hi LL,

You can use the function
neper2db
to check the calculation.

Hi,Brad.
When I set the frequency to 10MHz and I found that the absorption coefficient of water is 0.25Np/m, now I want to convert it to [dB/(MHz^y cm)].
alpha_power=1.1,Would be the correct value for medium.alpha_coeff in [dB/(MHz^y cm)] can be obtained with the conversion function : alpha_coeff=0.25*8.686/100/10^1.1 ?

Kind regards
LL
