&#60;p&#62;No, you can't use the &#60;code&#62;focus&#60;/code&#62; function in k-Wave. This sets an offset time signal for every grid point. Instead, you will need to define your own input signals for each physical element in the array (e.g., using the distance between the element and the desired focus), and then assign these as shown in &#60;code&#62;ex01_simple_example_kWaveArray_source&#60;/code&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;

  I recently attempted to use a kWaveArray object for simulating a 2D planar array. The question is how can I define arbitrarily a focal point of the array? Can I use the focus function of the k-Wave toolbox to produce delayed signals for each element？&#60;/p&#62;
