&#60;p&#62;It is possible to define a separate source signal for each point in your source mask (rather than a single time series). In this case, &#60;code&#62;source.p&#60;/code&#62; is indexed as &#60;code&#62;(source_point_index, time_index)&#60;/code&#62;, where the &#60;code&#62;source_point_index&#60;/code&#62; corresponds to a particular element in  &#60;code&#62;source.mask&#60;/code&#62; following MATLAB's column-wise linear matrix indexing. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you define the source mask to cover the entire grid, you could define source.p as a function of (x, y, z, t), and then reshape it using &#60;code&#62;source.p = reshape(source.p, Nx*Ny*Nz, Nt);&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There's some more information in section 3.4 of the &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.k-wave.org/documentation.php&#34;&#62;k-Wave manual&#60;/a&#62; that you might find helpful.&#60;/p&#62;
