Hi Yi,

Using the function
kspaceSecondOrder
it is possible to directly set the initial pressure gradient using
source.dp0dt
. This is illustrated in the Setting An Initial Pressure Gradient Example (you can access this via the MATLAB help browser).

If you want to enforce a particular gradient during the simulation, then I would suggest using
kspaceFirstOrder3D
(etc), and using a pressure or velocity source with
source.p_mode
or
source.u_mode
set to
dirichlet
. Again, there are examples of how to use pressure and velocity sources in the toolbox.

Hope that helps,

Brad.

Hi,

I am new to K-Wave tool box here. I was wondering how should I set up the initial pressure gradient. If possible, how would I keep the gradient though the simulation. In the matlab help document, I realized it is possible to do it. But without sample codes, I got confused.
Thanks,
Yi
