Hi Farhad,

The basic idea is to set a heterogeneous distribution of sound_speed, density etc... for your medium.

medium.sound_speed = yourSoundSpeedMatrix

medium.density = yourDensityMatrix

It works pretty well to get something that looks roughly realistic.

If you want something more precise, you may find this discussion interesting:
Modeling heterogeneity of real tissues
Unfortunately, I did not find the time to go deeper into the subject...

Best regards,
Anthony

PS : By the way, maybe Bradley's student has published something now :-)

This is what I want to do:
http://8pic.ir/images/uo48la69a8k8cuxlcn27.jpg

but I do not want to add gaussian noise this way!
I want to add the normal noise of ultrasound transducer(speckle) with simulation of sonography.
is there any features helping me out?

-BR
Farhad
