There are lots of ways. For example, you could use
makeBall
with different radii and randomly generate the central positions.

Thank you Bradley for your reply.

How do I change the size of scatterers in the defined medium properties?

I need to simulate a homogeneous phantom with different size of scatterers, for example, small scattrer phantom with scattrer size between 10-20 um and large scattrer phantom with scattrer size between 100-125 um.

Hi lokesh,

Yes, in general this should be possible. Take a look at the Simulating B-mode Ultrasound Images Example. You will need to change the medium definition, e.g., by changing the size of the scatterers.

Brad.

Is it possible to simulate a different sized scatterer phantom and image them using a simulated ultrasound transducer?
