Hi Rola,

This paper https://doi.org/10.1088/0031-9155/59/19/5795 and its references would be a good place to start.

Hi there,

I have a conceptual doubt. I am making a very basic simulation (homogenous media). My dx is fixed around 60um, my source is a disc with a magnitude of some pascals. For my simulations I am changing the size of disc (disc radius) to see the influence of the size in the frequency domain. By choosing the radius = 1dx I have the spectrum containing all the frequencies defined by f_max. By increasing the radius to 10dx I see that I have side lobes very enhanced (High frequencies). So my question, what is the influence of the source size in the frequency domain? How can I interpret these side lobes due to the increasing of the source size?

Best
Best
