I haven’t looked at your code, but in general, it’s a good an idea to run a convergence test by continuing to decrease the time step / CFL until the answer no longer changes. However, there’s not currently an automated way to do this I’m afraid.

I am running an elastic simulation using pstdelastic2D(). I have been following the following paper for the elastography simulation.

https://pubs.aip.org/asa/poma/article/29/1/020002/955366/Simulation-of-shear-wave-elastography-imaging

For the first part, I am using kspaceorder3d() from where I calculated the ARF and stresses which will be the input for the second simulation. I am using a water-solid interface here. However, I can see that the elastic simulation has a stability problem. Now if I reduce the cf1 value it will reduce the stability a bit, however, is there any other way I can check to reduce the instability problem?

Link of instability image for my case: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iEdEOATzfwrGZ58tBhoknmobr7oE0Z__/view?usp=drive_link
