Brad,

It works great! I did think of something like that but missed the possibility to enforce the pressure values as B.C.

Thanks for your help. Again, impressive work!

Hi Christophe,

You could achieve this by setting up the time reversal using
source.p
rather than
sensor.time_reversal_boundary_data
. For example, set
source.p_mask
to be the same as your original
sensor.mask
, set
source.p
to be your recorded time series in time reversed order, then set
source.p_mode
to
'dirichlet'
to enforce the pressure values as a dirichlet boundary condition (rather than as a mass source). You should then be free to set your sensor mask as you please.

Let me know if you get stuck,

Brad.

Hi Dr. Treeby and Dr. Cox

First I would like to congratulate you and your team for this great toolbox. Thanks for sharing such a high quality tool!

I am struggling to find a way to output all time steps of the reconstructed field over the whole medium grid (i.e. not only the final field). I would like to be able to signal/image processing of the time-reversed propagation. However the way sensor.time_reversal_boundary_data works, it is not compatible with a redefinition of the sensor grid to the whole grid, and I don't find a good way to output and save the back-propagating field for each time steps.

Is there a way around this limitation?

Cheers,

Christophe
