Hi,

I think I could solve the problem, I used time integration of the source and the 'additive' mode.

Best regards,

Hi Babak,

The strength of the reflection (relative to the strength of the source) shouldn't depend on what type of source you use, so that seems a little puzzling to me. Is your source mask defined at a single point?

Brad.

Hi,

I am using k-wave for underwater acoustic simulation and my source is the acoustic pressure recorded from seismic-airgun. my source is 5 meters below the water surface. It seems I must use source.p-mode='dirichlet' since I know the values of the source term. But in this case the reflected acoustic pressure from water/air interface is very weak which is not correct.

If I use source.p-mode='additive', then the reflected wave seems correct but this time the source is very different than the reality.

Can you please help me to solve this problem? k-wave can't handle source and propagation from interfaces?

Best regards,

Babak
