I defined a point source in water. The sound wave propagation looked good at relatively low frequencies. But once I gave it a higher frequency, the wave propagated with a cross shape and the color was black and grey.
Can anyone explain this to me?
Is there any value limits of frequency or amplitude?

Sorry, this problem appears with both higher amplitude and frequency.

Two things to check - is the plot scale correct? The default plot range is [-1, 1]. You can set 'PlotScale', 'auto' if you want to double check. The second is whether the frequency is still supported by the computational grid (the maximum frequency is reported on the command line output).
