I am trying to run simulations on a large volume in an almost homogeneous medium (water mainly with a dozen pixel-size reflectors). Is it possible to input the reflectors as medium instead of a matrix having the size of the volume?

Hi Charlotte,
As it stands, no. We are working on implementing a labelled matrix option (i.e., and matrix of integers and a look-up table) to reduce memory consumption (particularly for piece-wise constant media), but this is still some way from the release version.
