   Hello,

   I am simulating mediums with heterogenous speed of sounds, I have random speed of sounds assigned to different regions (in the range of e.g. 1400-1600). However, I would like to change the mass density accordingly. Are there any known formula that computes the exact density value for each speed of sound value?

   Hi Farnaz,

   There is no exact relationship, however, this paper by Douglas Mast gives a linear fit between density and sound speed based on available values from the literature.
