when i am trying to simulating mesh using the phased array transducer example,i am able to get horizontal lines only but not vertical lines.i have placed it normal to the transducer. can u please tell me what may be the reason for the same(not getting vertical lines).

Hi cebil,
I'm not sure I follow your question. Do you want to orient the transducer in a different direction relative to the grid? If so, unfortunately this is not possible with the current version of k-Wave.

sir,i am actually trying to simulate a mesh grid placed perpendicular to the transducer using b mode ultrasound simulation example.but i am unable to get the vertical lines. what may be the reason for not getting good reflection from the vertical lines of the grid as shown below.

Hi cebil,
It's still a bit unclear. Do you mean that if you introduce long reflectors placed perpendicular to the transducer surface, you don't see them in the image? If so, that might be expected if they don't strongly scatter back towards the transducer (like a line in the opposite direction might).
