Case 1:
1) Set souce.p0(...)=1 (set to single point)
2) Set sensor.mask=Makebowl(...)
3) Sum all sensor data

1) Set souce.p0(...)=Makebowl(...)
2) Set sensor.mask=1
Are the simulation results (waveform) consistent?(Ignoring amplitude)

Hi lishine,
Provided the simulation is linear (and you take care to make sure they are equivalent e.g., smoothing), you can switch a point source and a point receiver and the result will be the same (i.e., the principle of reciprocity should hold). A distributed source can be considered as the sum of individual point sources, so the same should hold if the source is a bowl.
