Except for the site of peak intensity (Isppa), I also need to calculate the intensity of other sites. Can I ask if this formula is correct?
I = (P^2)/(2*rho*c*f)
P: pressure
rho: medium density
c: acoustic speed
f: frequency

This formula shouldn’t have the f in the denominator. Without the f, it gives you the time average intensity under the assumption of a plane wave (and a time average over an integer number of periods or a long signal), where P is the amplitude of the acoustic wave. It will give a reasonable approximation near the focus of a focused transducer, but may become inaccurate away from it, depending on the shape of the field.
