   Hello Dr. Brad, Dr. Cox, and all members,

   I tried to use directivity_angle field name in cartesian, the code is

   :
   :
   xPos = 30e-3;
   yPos = 50e-3;
   sensor.mask = [xPos;yPos];
   sensor.directivity_angle = 0; %pi/3
   sensor.record = {'p','p_final'};

   sensor_data = kspaceFirstOrder2D(kgrid, medium, source, sensor);

   a). However an error message "sensor.directivity_angle and sensor.mask must be the same size" appeared. Would you help how to use this fieldname in cartesian please.

   b). And how to use directivity_angle in Source ? I want to give a special directivity in source as well as in sensor.

   Hi romy_budhi,

   To use the directivity_angle input, you need to use a binary sensor mask (rather than a Cartesian sensor mask). You can convert from one to the other using cart2grid and grid2cart. It's not possible to define the directivity of sources in this way. However, a simple way to model directivity is to use a source mask that is the same size as your physical source. Most of the examples under the "Sensor Directivity" heading in k-Wave model directivity in this way.
