Hi I have simulated different shaped particles for one of my projects. However I want to do the photoacoustic simulation for gold nanoparticles. So what changes should I make if my source is specifically gold material?

k-Wave doesn't model the optical part of the photoacoustic problem, so it doesn't care how the photoacoustic source was generated. Assuming you can ignore the effects of the gold particles on the acoustic part of the simulation, you can just assign the appropriate source conditions inside k-Wave.
