I tried to simulate a HIFU pressure field and wanted to get an axial acoustic pressure.
For the comparison, I simulated the focused_ultrasound_heating example and the focusedBowlOneil example.
After the simulation, I extracted the p_max_all along the acoustic axis and compared it with results extracted from other methods (O'neil).
However, there was a large mismatch in the pre-focal region while the acoustic pressures near the focus were well-matched.
The result from the focused_ultrasound_heating example showed much higher than the focusedBowlOneil result.
Is there any limitation in the focused_ultrasound_heating example?
Or how can I fix the problem and get the same result from the focused_ultrasound_heating example??
