   Dear Dr. Treeby and Dr. Cox,

   I just wish to ensure, whether the pressure obtained at the detector is gauge pressure?
   Secondly, how do we know the frequency of pressure waves, being detected and what factors contribute to it, such that it lies in ultrasound domain?

   Hi Prabodh,

   The pressure recorded at the sensor is the acoustic pressure, in units of Pascals. You can examine the frequency content of your recorded signals using the spect function. If you are performing photoacoustic simulations (i.e., using source.p0), the frequency content will depend on the size and smoothness of the initial pressure distribution. If you are performing acoustic or ultrasound simulations (i.e., using source.p or source.ux, etc), the frequency content will depend on the frequency content of your source, in addition to the strength of any nonlinear effects.
