"smooth" function conflicting with MATLAB's built-in function

Hi, I've recently installed k-wave. I have a question. "smooth" conflicts with MATLAB's own built-in "smooth" function. Is this by design? The problem I face is that some of my scripts no longer work while I have k-wave active (set on path).

A suggestion to solve this would be to rename it to something like k_smooth, mat_smooth or msmooth. This would make some scripts non-retro-compatible, but might be the best option.

It's a good point - we'll take a look at giving it a modified name for the next release. For backwards compatibility, we would likely keep the old smooth as a wrapper for another release or two, but it would be easy enough for people to delete this if it conflicts with the curve fitting toolbox.
