   Hi all,

   How can I convert a hydrophone measurement in the experiment to source strength in a simulation?
   For instance, I have an unfocused transducer and I drive with 10 Vpp continuous signal. In the 2D simulation, I put the same transducer geometry for my source and drive with the same time signal. But I am not sure how to determine the source strength.

   Do you have any idea about this conversion?

   Hi Michael,

   There are several ways. One is using holography. Alternatively, if you only have a single point measurement or a line scan, after deconvolving the hydrophone frequency response to get pressure, iteratively update the source amplitude until the measurement and simulation agree.
